So much of setting up this account felt familiar to me, and writing here does too.

I don't write the way I used to. That's not to say I don't write anymore-- I do. I'm just not as prolific, not as vulnerable. It didn't occur to me until TODAY, as I sat here building this ~livejournal for my 30s~ that maybe the problem isn't me but the lack of an outlet that works.

Livejournal always worked. Livejournal did so much for me as a teenager, and even into my early 20s.

I started my first Livejournal in 2003. I was fourteen. Two years later I changed my username, but then maintained that journal for a solid ten years, posting my final entry from Stephanie's Chicago apartment in July of 2015. I was 26. I loved it dearly and was one of the last to let go.

Idk how Stephanie found this platform but I am so excited to be here. Come be my friend; let's spill our guts.
